Harnessing Happiness with Sarah J Naylor is an upbeat, energetic, and inspiring podcast filled with joy and laughter, wisdom, philosophies, and positive psychology.
During this episode you will meet the infectiously engaging and down to earth Steve Picker. You will naturally warm to him as he does ‘being himself’ so brilliantly.
Steve talks openly about the challenges he has faced during his life and how he has suffered in the past with mental health issues, being overweight, going on diets that don’t work and how he discovered running when the heavens opened on him one day last year when he was 2 miles from home!
Steve has an interest in and enthusiasm for Victorian industrial buildings and has a growing YouTube channel where he records entertaining videos of himself exploring the countryside and a wide range of disused, and still used, range of tunnels, culverts, and other buildings due to his fascination with water and the construction methods.
You might think, ‘is that really of interest to me?’, however, as you tune in to this highly entertaining and fascinating discussion between Sarah and Steve you will find yourself heading to his YouTube channel to find out more where you will find out more about his love of, ‘our out of use, buried, and reclaimed by nature industrial past, that is scattered across our beautiful countryside.’ And where he explores ‘abandoned Railways, Canals, Tunnels, Old Buildings, Ruins and beautiful landscapes that pepper our rural land, and cityscapes.’
And you may also be inspired to take up trail running, or at the very least find yourself on the look out for culverts in your local area.
Tune in now or download and listen later, Steve is cracking guy and you’re going to love this episode!
Sarah is naturally engaging, her energy infectious, and whether she is sharing her musings and ramblings about life in general, or having insightful discussions with her guests, as you tune in and listen, your energy levels will rise, a smile will spread across your face as your inner happiness is harnessed.
